NCB Annual Retreat 2021
NCB Annual Retreat 2021
As it has for more than 40 years, the NCB met at Camp Happyland for a musical and spiritual retreat in preparation for the 2021-22 season. Since the band's primary devotional piece for the season is Leslie Condon's "Gift For His Altar", the retreat breakout sessions were centered on the four verses of the song "I Have Not Much To Give Thee, Lord", which were written by the "father of Salvation Army music", Richard Slater. The retreat ended, as always, with a consecration service, led this year by NCB Executive Officer, Major Bobby Westmoreland.
