The National Capital Band of The Salvation Army is seeking visual artists to help commemorate a historic milestone — 100 years of ministry through music.

This year, the band is recording its centennial album titled:

For Thy Mission! A Centennial Celebration

We invite artists and designers to submit original artwork that captures the heart of this moment — a century of faithful service, musical excellence, and dedication to the mission of Christ through The Salvation Army.

CONSIDER THEMES LIKE:

  • Legacy and faithfulness across generations
  • Service and sacrifice
  • Music as ministry
  • Light, hope, and calling
  • The Army’s mission to “go into the world and preach the gospel”
  • “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.” – 2 Corinthians 5:20

SELECTION & RECOGNITION

The artwork will be selected by a panel of members of the National Capital Band

The chosen artwork will be featured as the official album cover for

For Thy Mission! A Centennial Celebration,

and the artist will be credited across all digital and print materials.
